Restaurace Nostalgie
About This Spot
Restaurace Nostalgie welcomes you into a quietly unpretentious space where the hum of everyday Teplice life feels just a step away. This is a spot where the pace slows down, encouraging guests to settle into the warmth of familiar surroundings framed by subtle nods to a motorcycle-inspired décor — distinctive, if a little playful, and part of the restaurant’s unique personality.
Inside, the atmosphere unfolds gently: soft lighting and approachable service create an inviting backdrop for meals that lean on honest Czech traditions with whispers of wider European influences. It’s a gathering place where locals and travelers alike find comfort in hearty flavors that speak softly but confidently, from rich garlic soup to tender pork dishes served with care and simple finesse.
Eating here feels less like a formal occasion and more like stepping into a narrative of place and time — where the conversation flows easily over a well-poured Pivo Bernard or a carefully crafted cocktail. The menu’s offerings invite exploration, whether savoring a familiar classic or trying something with a twist, such as a dish paired with a local digestive like Becherovka, which lingers pleasantly as a final note.
On any given afternoon or evening, you might find yourself surrounded by regulars who come not only for the food but also for the steady comfort of a friendly welcome and a relaxed, quietly lively rhythm. The balance of traditional Czech hospitality and the personal touches here make Restaurace Nostalgie more than a stop along the way — it’s a chance to savor moments that feel genuinely grounded in the rhythms of Teplice.

The restaurant is not bad, but too expensive for what you get. The motorcycle theme is kitsch. Well, a matter of taste….

Had our late lunch here because it's not too far from our hotel. It's a charming quiet resto with very friendly staff. We enjoyed our first Czech beer and the food was delicious and reasonable. They offered us thier local digestive ( Becherovka ) before we left and I loved it, that's why I brought one when I came back to Paris. You should visit this resto when you're in Prague

Very nice place with a wide menu, excellent food and friendly service. Pork chops and chicken wings are top.
